Escape to a magical place in the heart of the Dordogne where centuries of history have left their mark. Limestone cliffs loom overhead, marked by mysterious openings into age-old shelters, and herds of bison thunder across cave walls, attesting to the genius of ancient artists. Imposing castles and sombre churches conjure up images of warring princes and pious pilgrims. Peaceful roads and pathways wind past villages of golden limestone, tobacco fields, walnut groves and shady oak woods where black truffles grow.

Trip Reviews

November 2, 2022

“Thanks for another wonderful trip! The caves really are as good as we’d hoped – Lascaux caves was my favourite. We got an English tour and I would really suggest it as there is so much information to cover. There was lots of opportunity for toodling around to other little villages. The directions were easy to read and not a single glitch. Love Ride With GPS app. The bikes are always great!”
