Getting There

Beaune is located about 320 km southeast of Paris and can be easily reached from Paris via Dijon. It is also close to the international airports in Lyon and Geneva. Connections from southern France, especially Provence, are very convenient.

Beaune

Arrive in Beaune. Wander through the picturesque narrow streets of this pretty town with its magnificent old buildings, pausing perhaps to indulge in some wine-tasting. Your bicycle is waiting for you, so you can also enjoy a short ride south to Pommard and back.

Explore the vineyards of the Côte d’Or South among wine villages with names familiar to wine lovers around the world. Head as far as Meursault or Puligny-Montrachet.

Head into the Côte d’Or North. Explore more wine villages as you bike to Aloxe-Corton, a famous wine town. Take it easy along a short, flat route.
